Jimmy Choo for H&M

Is it really cliche for me to love Jimmy Choo?

Never! Jimmy Choo is never cliche, always amazing, always perfect, always so sexy. And to imagine, on November 14th H&M will release a line of shoes as a celebrity collaboration with one of my favorite brand-name shoe designers.

I recently had a friend over who asked to see my shoe collection. My apartment is about the size of a... Hm... Well, yeah it's about the size of a shoe box (ha ha). I think she was expecting something from Legally Blonde, like a walk in closet (no wait, that's my room) or a button I push and a shoe display lowers down from the ceiling. Nope, not here. My current situation is that I have a plastic tub overflowing with shoes. It makes me a little sad, I like it when my sandals can lay together, the stillettos can stand tall and proud next to one another. Currently they all kind of just go in a big plastic box & they gotta deal with it.

As excited as I am for the Jimmy Choo collection to debut, I can also imagine the chaos that November 14th will bring. Not only in the form of shopping anarchy in Hong Kong, but what will my boyfriend say when my box of shoes begins to multiply...?

The H&M collaboration with Jimmy Choo has been reported on by bloggers everywhere, but so far there haven't been any photos from the collection. In the past H&M has worked with Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, Viktor & Rolf and Matthew Williamson. What is so different about this collaboration versus the previous designers that H&M has chosen is that Jimmy Choo is purely an accessories label. I can't even begin to imagine how H&M is going to work their clothing designs around this line of accessories. I'm so curious about which direction they'll be taking, more classic, exotic, trendy... While the news has just broken a little over a month ago, there's nothing to be found online except the wishes and musings of fashion bloggers.

"Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection – the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!" - Tamara Mellon

"WOW!" is all I've got to say about that. Jimmy Choo is known for incredibly sexy, versatile, timeless shoes, I can only imagine that the clothes for this collection will emulate the same elements. I always love a pair of cheap shoes, but Jimmy Choo will always be close to my heart. My very first pair of 4.5" heels were from Jimmy Choo, a Christmas present from my dad. I know it's corny, but I have to say that is one of those moments you will remember for the rest of your life. If I could cue music I'm thinking Britney Spear's "Not a Girl, Not yet a Woman", tears in my eyes as I slip on a pair of elegent Choos, clasped the ankle straps, stood up and though, "Owwww" Story of my life right there, trying to look good and as put-together as possible while inside I'm screaming.

Well, that's why pedicures are so cheap. If you're looking for a great foot and leg massage, there's no better place than Happy Foot Reflexology Center. They have an extensive menu of services, but the tried and true favorite is their reflexology massage ($198HKD). Resist asking the therapists to go softer on your feet, they know what they're doing, and I don't for a second argue that the beginning of the massage kills - but once it's all over you feel like a whole new person.
